What F1 actually records, which Scouse lines carry the label, and why a generation tag should match the breeding archive.

F1 means first filial generation — Scouse Genetics

F1 means first filial generation: the first generation produced by the recorded parent pairing. It does not automatically mean unfinished, unstable or unsuitable as a named line; it tells you where that generation sits in the pedigree. The useful question is whether the breeder is clear about the parents, selection and what has actually been observed.

On this archive, Jammy Dodgers F1 is Di Frutti × Tropicanna Punch, Lemon Dodgers F1 is Lemon Apricot × Jammy Dodgers, and Apricot Punch F1 is Orange Apricot BX1 × Black Punch. Those labels are part of the provenance record, not a marketing grade.

Black Punch is recorded as Tropicana Punch × Tropicana Punch with no formal generation currently attached. Orange Gas is Orange Apricot × Skull Cap. The point is consistency: the product page, Genetics Library and breeding notes should all tell the same story.
