FAQ

Short answers. If something failed, start with Troubleshooting the pack. Longer notes live on the blog.

The pack

What sizes do you sell?: Every strain is regular photoperiod: 15 seeds for £30, or 30 seeds for £60. That includes the Ruff Genetics drop when it packs. Merch is priced on each product.
Are these feminized?: No. We do not work feminized. Regular seed only — males and females in the pack, on purpose. The blog note ‘Feminized strains — and why we do not pack them’ is the longer answer.
Do you germ-test?: Yes. Current batches are tested before they leave Liverpool. If a seed will not pop with a straightforward paper-towel or plug method, email the order number and we replace it. We cannot cover seed left on a radiator.
What does coming soon mean?: Ruff Genetics Jamaica — Lambs Bread, Jah Orange Tree, Strawberry Mousse, Island Punch, Gas Tree, and the named island cultivar — stay on the waitlist until germ and expression are honest. Join notify-me on the strain page. We email once, when it ships.

Orders & shipping

Where do you ship?: UK tracked from £3.95, free over £50. Europe from £9.95. Plain packaging. We do not ship seed where import is prohibited. Dispatch is within two working days of a paid order.
How do I pay?: Bank transfer only. Place the order, then send the total using the order number as the reference. We pack when the payment lands. Sort code and account number are on the confirmation screen — or we email them from hello@scousegenetics.co.uk if they are not printed yet.
I am a seed bank. Can I wholesale?: Yes — other banks, not shoppers. Apply on the wholesale page. Sample / Trade / Distro tiers are 25 / 35 / 45% off the 15 and 30 retail packs.

If something’s wrong

The seed will not pop.: Use a paper-towel or a plug — that is the test we cover. Warm, not hot. A radiator cooks the embryo. A soaking wet towel rots it; a bone-dry one never wakes. If a current-batch seed still fails, email the order number to hello@scousegenetics.co.uk and we replace it. Longer note: Germ tests, not a grow guide.
I stored them badly.: Heat, light, and a kitchen drawer age seed in months. We cannot replace a pack you cooked. Cold, dark, dry, airtight — that is Keep seed like you mean it. The batch left here tested.
Checkout did not take my card.: There is no card checkout. Pay by bank transfer using the order number as the reference. If you have transferred and we have not packed after two working days, email hello@scousegenetics.co.uk with that number.
My bag emptied / I lost the order.: Preview orders live in the browser. A different phone or a cleared cache will look empty. Paid live orders get a confirmation email — until then, write to us with the name and pack.
Nothing has arrived.: Paid orders dispatch within two working days, tracked, plain envelope. If the tracking stall is past that, email the order number. We do not ship where import is banned — those do not leave the building.
Waitlist is silent.: Ruff lines email once, when the germ tests pass. There is no drip. If the address was wrong, join again on the strain page.
Coming soon will not add to bag.: Correct. Use Notify me. 15 / £30 and 30 / £60 show as the price when it packs, not as a cart line.

Legal

Is this 18+?: Yes. You must be 18 or over to browse and to order.
Are the seeds legal?: In the UK it is legal to sell and possess cannabis seeds as souvenirs and collectibles. Germinating them or cultivating cannabis without a Home Office licence is illegal. Horticultural notes on this site are for collectors and licensed growers, not an invitation to break the law.
Do you give grow advice?: We publish scores, flowering ranges, and terpene maps from keepers we ran. We do not publish a cultivation SOP. Blog posts on germ tests and soil life are quality notes, not a tent manual.
