A collector pack is easiest to preserve when it stays labelled, dry, dark and away from repeated heat swings. The point is long-term record keeping: keeping the physical seed together with the breeder, parent cross, generation and pack information that identifies it.

We keep archive stock sealed and clearly labelled so provenance does not get separated from the seed. For a home collection, the same principle matters more than any elaborate storage gadget: stable conditions and a label you can still read years later.

Preserve the record as well as the pack

A seed without its provenance is much less useful to a genetics archive. Keep the original pack or record the strain name, breeder, parent cross, pack date and order reference beside it. That makes later identification possible even if artwork or packaging changes.

If a pack arrives damaged, mislabelled or incomplete, contact us with the order number and photographs of the packaging. Customer-service issues can be resolved without publishing germination or cultivation instructions.
